In the State of Missouri, Circuit courts have original jurisdiction over all cases and matters, civil and criminal. This courts have the authority to issue and determine original remedial writs and shall sit at times and places within the circuit as determined by the circuit court. The Taney County Courthouse is located in Forsyth, Missoui. The new Judicial Facility is located at 266 Main Street Forsyth, Missouri, about 1 block south of the Courthouse. The Clerk’s office is open Monday – Friday 8:00 – 5:00. The Court has two divisions. Laura Johnson is the presiding Circuit Judge and Tony Williams and Eric D.
